Yes ladies, it’s that time of the year again! Is it too early to think of what you are going to wear to the races? Not at all! Do you want to turn heads and look different than everyone else? Start putting your outfit together now!
Here are a few ideas of what will stand out and how can you get noticed:
1. Use clashing colours.
Think of something very different. Use a combination of colours that are not commonly used. Gray and lime green, red and purple, baby blue and burgundy, just to give you a few ideas. That way you will definitely look different than everyone else.
2. Classic looks always stand out.

20s, 30s, 40s, 50s or 60s looks are always a very classy choice. Don’t be afraid to go ‘full on’ with these looks. This is when they work best.

You can also go for a ‘one colour look’. That may prove difficult as you have to make sure that all the pieces of your outfit match perfectly. But if you get it right, you will look great!
4. Make sure that you are comfortable.
The most important thing is to be comfortable in what you are wearing. If you are not, that will show and you are not going to have a good time. If you are more comfortable in pants for example, don’t be afraid to wear it.
5. Be brave!
The most important thing is to be brave! There are no rules at the races. So if you are usually concerned of what others will think of you, don’t be! When you are going to the races, modesty goes out the window! It’s just a little bit of fun at the end of the day!
